On 4 April 2012, Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Industry and Entrepreneurship, presented a legislative proposal, adopted by the European Commission, to facilitate the registration of cars, vans, buses and trucks that were previously registered in another EU country.

This is a highly innovative piece of legislation that moves in a number of directions: reducing red tape, costs, cases of fraud and helping citizens.
