||Soundbite (in ENGLISH) by Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the EC: it takes great courage and intelligence to be able to reach this sort of agreement, and I want to pay tribute to those who have participated actually from both Kosovo and Serbia in getting to this point. The agreement on regional cooperation will do something new. It will enable Kosovo to participate on its own account, to be able to speak for itself in meetings and in discussions. I think it is a significant move forward.
||Soundbite (in ENGLISH) by Catherine Ashton: in December there was a strong move to get political agreement but sometimes the hardest part is to turn political agreements into practical application. And again, the work that has been done to do that, to have the kind of cooperation on customs, on police and on immigration. It's going to be essential to support the people of Kosovo. We have now reached that point.
