Ministerial Accession Conference with Iceland: roundtable

On 12 December, the third meeting of the Accession Conference with Iceland at Ministerial level is taking place to continue accession negotiations. In June 2010, at the last meeting Conference with Iceland, Ministers opened the first 4 screened chapters of the 35 negotiation chapters. While Chapter 5 - Public Procurement and Chapter 10 - Information Society and Media are still discussed, the Ministers provisionally closed negotiations on Chapter 25 - Science and Research and Chapter 26 - Education and Culture. The negotiations on accession with Iceland started on 27 July 2010.
