The Conference of Presidents of the European Parliament took place in Strasbourg this morning to set up the agenda of January plenary session. Among the main discussed subjects were the involvement of the European Parliament in the economic governance framework and well as the EU-US Agreement on the transfer and processing of Passenger Name Record data (PNR Agreement). Jerzy Buzek has also given a retrospective on his two-and-a-half-year presidency of the European Parliament, and thanks the EP Political leaders for their support during his mandate in these challenging times.
