European Parliament adopted today the recommendation for the appointment of Benoît Coeuré, the French candidate to the Executive Board of the European Central Bank. The vote was held under e-vote procedure.
Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs evaluated and proceeded to the hearing of the nominee last monday. The Committee delivered a favourable opinion on the Council recommendation to appoint Benoît Coeuré as a Member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank. Its decision will now be forwarded to the European Council, the Council and the governments of the Member States.
