Spain, holders of the rotating EU presidency, has called a videoconference meeting of EU transport ministers for Monday to discuss the impact on European air traffic of the volcanic gas ash cloud. It has to be a videoconference because EU ministers would not be able to get to Madrid because of the air space closures.
