10:00:05 Soundbite by Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the EC (in ENGLISH): I will if I might read a short statement, because I am very concerned at the current reports of violence taking place in and around the Gaza border with Israel and deeply regret the loss of life; can I call upon Israelis and Palestinians to exercise restraint and call for complete halt to all the violence? These actions undermine our current efforts to facilitate resumption of the peace process and an urgent resumption of negotiations remains crucial. 00:00:39
