The European Heads of State and Government gathered in Brussels for a two-day meeting mainly devoted to economy and climate change, against the bakdrop of euro rising versus dollar and Greek economic crisis. EU Leaders will discuss the European Commission's 2020 strategy for jobs and growth and later over dinner exchange views on the main issues on the agenda of the forthcoming G20 Summit in Toronto. Ahead of the meeting, official sources were saying that France and Germany struck a deal to help Greece. An agreement could be announced tonight after markets close. It would offer some 22 billion euros for Greece, combining individual loans from the IMF and eurozone nations.
