Euroskills 2008: with the participation of Ján Figel'

EuroSkills 2008 took place from 18 to 20 September 2008 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. At the Ahoy exhibition centre, hundreds of talented and skilled young people and VET students from across Europe showed off their skills, through competitions and demonstrations. Many European trades were highlighted through individual and team competitions and demonstrations. EuroSkills 2008 was a perfect showcase for modern and traditional European trades, values and cultural heritage and therefore contributed significantly to the competitiveness and economic growth of Europe.
