Olli Rehn, Member of the EC in charge of Enlargement, received Ali Babacan, Turkish Minister for Foreign Affairs, on 28 May 2008 in Brussels, to talk about the progress in accession negotiations. They were expected to discuss lacking reforms in areas like the judiciary, cultural and linguistic rights, and trade unions rights.
