As storm crowds gathered over Rangoon today the Burmeses regimes faced more pressure to open its borders to aid The most senior diplomat so far to visit the stricken country is the EU Humaitarian Commissioner Lous Michel. During his two day visited that ended tonight he urged the genral s to free up the passage of aid. After meeting the three ministers he appealed for the government to change thir minds and allows in foredign aid workers before more deaths occured. Meanwhile in central Rangoon today a massive clean up was ongoing as troops and workers claredd the debris. Tonight Commisioner Michel left Rangoon believe that he had made some progress and that the junat would begin to allow freer access for humanitand programmes and workers.
