The thirteenth ministerial Troika meeting between the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the European Union took place on 28 April 2008 in Luxembourg. Both parts were expected to exchange views on the peace and security situation in the region, and the emergence of cross-border threats such as drugs and human trafficking.
