Greenpeace campaigners blocked the entry to the European Council where EU Fisheries Ministers had to enter to hold a meeting to decide the allowable amounts of fish to be fished for 2008 in the different areas. Around 200 members of Greenpeace from 14 countries built a wall in front of the main entry of the building, and blocked the other entries with chains and nets during nearly one hour. With this action, Greenpeace wanted to send a message to Ministers that Europe is fishing too much. They accused the Ministers of not listening to scientific advise, resulting in mismanagement of Europe's seas.
