EU/Africa/Middle East Energy Conference: participation of Benita Ferrero-Waldner and Andris Piebalgs

Benita Ferrero-Waldner, Member of the EC in charge of External Relations and European Neighbourhood Policy, travelled to Israel, the Occupied Palestinian Territory and Egypt between 28 and 31 October 2007. On 1 November, she co-hosted with Aboul Gheit, Egyptian Minister for Foreign Affairs, the first ever EU/Africa/Middle East Energy Conference in Sharm el Sheikh. Andris Piebalgs, Member of the EC in charge of Energy, was also present at the Conference.
