UN General Assembly: participation of José Manuel Barroso to the "Global Creative Leadership Summit"

José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, took part in the "Global Creative Leadership Summit" which took place from 23 to 25 September in New York. This Summit provided a unique new platform to address the challenges of globalization. The Summit delegates included Heads of State, Nobel-Prize winners, Olympic Gold Medalists, global CEOs and the most influential thought-leaders who together will develop new solutions on trade, foreign policy, rule of law, education, Africa and the environment. It was developed in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Partnerships and it was the beginning of the further collective work of the United Nations, governments, business, academia, NGOs and all delegates.
