Participation de László Andor à l'évènement EuroSkills
On 5 October 2012, László Andor, Member of the EC in charge of Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, participated at the Euroskills competition in Spa, Belgium. The Euroskills competition features demonstrations of technical and manual professions that can yield valuable job opportunities for young people. László Andor recalled that lack of adequate education and training is stopping many young people from finding a job. He stressed that reducing investment in education and training is clearly not an option in today's difficult times and that such investments must be protected from budgetary cuts. Among participants, there were also Paola, Queen of Beligum, and Marie-Dominique Simonet, Minister for Compulsory Education and Improvement Classes of the Government of the Federation Wallonia-Brussels.
