Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the EC, made a joint press statement with Aleksandar Vučić, Serbian Prime Minister, following their meeting on 28 April 2014 in Belgrade. Catherine Ashton congratulated the Prime Minister and his Government on the March parliamentary elections in Serbia, and they discussed Serbia's journey to joining the European Union.
