Second European Innovation Convention: address by Gitte Neubauer, winner of the last edition

On 10 March 2014, José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, and Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, Member of the EC in charge of Research, Innovation and Science, and Mark Rutte, Dutch Prime Minister, participated in the 2nd European Innovation Convention organised by the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium. The award ceremony of the EU Prize for Women Innovators took also place during the opening ceremony. It rewarded people who dare thinking differently and pursuing their ideas.On this occasion, Gitte Neubauer, Co-founder and Vice-President for Research Operations of Cellzome and Laureate of the 1st EU Prize for Women Innovators 2011, gave a speech and presented her work and the changes in her life since obtaining the prize.
