The European Commission, together with the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, organised a Conference dedicated to Black Sea Stakeholders which was held on 30 January 2014 in Bucharest, Romania. The one-day event was the first effort on a sea-basin level to bring together private and public actors and donor organisations in order to identify the elements for the development of the maritime sector in the Black Sea littoral countries and pave the way for an enhanced marine and maritime cooperation in the wider Black Sea region.
