Conference "Cities of Tomorrow: Investing in Europe": joint press conference by Johannes Hahn and Jean Clos

On 17 February 2014, Johannes Hahn, Member of the EC in charge of Regional Policy, participated in the conference "Cities of Tomorrow: Investing in Europe" (CiTIEs) at the Charlemagne building, in Brussels, Belgium. This conference brought together important figures in urban policy to plot the way ahead for a new EU Urban Agenda.On this occasion, Johannes Hahn, together with Joan Clos, Executive Director of United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), gave their views on a EU urban agenda and the increasing relevance of urban issues at EU level.
