Fighting counterfeiting and reviving the economy conference, with the participation of Antonio Tajani

On 27 January 2014, Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Industry and Entrepreneurship, travelled to Roma, Italy, and participated in the event on counterfeiting. On this occasion, he gave an opening speech at the conference on fighting counterfeiting and reviving the economy. The EUStopfakes campaign aims to raise awareness of citizens and authorities at the highest levels against counterfeit. The event represented an opportunity to take stock of the situation in Italy and the impact of the campaign along with some of the actors involved in the forefront in the fight.
