Geneva II Middle East Peace Conference on Syria, Montreux: more round table

On 22 January 2014, Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the EC, travelled to Montreux, Switzerland and participated to Geneva II Middle East Peace Conference on Syria. Amongst others, she met with Ban-Ki moon, Secretary General of the United Nations, John Kerry, US Secretary of State, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the UN Secretary General’s High-Level Panel on Global Sustainability, British Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, and Didier Reynders, Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, External Trade and European Affairs.
