Extracts from the press conference by Dacian Cioloș, on the adoption of the Proposal on the promotion of agricultural products

On 21 November 2013, Dacian Cioloş, Member of the EC in charge of Agriculture and Rural Development, held a press conference on the legislative proposal adopted by the EC for a reform of the policy on information and promotion measures for agricultural products on the internal market and in third countries. With the new system, the EC aims at a more ambitious promotion policy, more focused on the needs of European and third-country markets. The total budget of aid will be increased and the administrative procedure simplified.
