EU/Central Asia Ministerial meeting: extracts from the joint press briefing by Linas Linkevičius and Andris Piebalgs

Andris Piebalgs, Member of the EC in charge of Development, and Linas Linkevičius, Lithuanian Minister for Foreign Affairs and President in office of the Council of the EU, held a joint press conference after the EU/Central Asia Ministerial Meeting in Brussels on 20 November 2013. Andris Piebalgs announced that 1 billion euros would be made available to support the development efforts of Central Asian countries between 2014 and 2020.
