Visit of Štefan Füle, to Moldova

Štefan Füle, Member of the EC in charge of Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, was in Chișinău, Moldova, on 3 and 4 October 2013 to participate in the fifth meeting of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum. On 3 October, Štefan Füle also had bilateral meetings with Nicolae Timofti, President of Moldova, and with Iurie Leancă, Moldovan Prime Minister. He held a joint press conference with Iurie Leancă after their meeting. They discussed issues on the bilateral agenda between the EU and Moldova, the state of reforms in Moldova, the benefits of EU/Moldova cooperation and the planned initialising at the Vilnius Summit of November 2013 of the Association Agreement between the EU and Moldova.
