Visit of Maria Damanaki and Dacian Cioloș, to Romania

Maria Damanaki, Member of the EC in charge of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, and Dacian Cioloş, Member of the EC in charge of Agriculture and Rural Development, went to Romania on 29 and 30 September 2013. On the first day of their visit, they were in Sfântu Gheorghe, in the Danube Delta, where they made a motorboat trip on the Danube River and participated in a conference with Liviu Dragnea, Romanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Regional Development and Public Administration. Maria Damanaki was there to underline the need to turn the reform of the Common Fisheries Policy into concrete results in the Black Sea and share ideas as to how best this can be achieved.
