Single Market Month 2013 - Jobs

The unemployment rate in the European Union is currently over 10% (August 2013). This is a tough time for many people – but there is opportunity. European citizens have the right to move within the EU for work to take advantage, for example, of vacancies where employers cannot find a local candidate. What do you think about the actions the EU is taking to boost employment? How can conditions for job mobility or setting up a business be improved in the Single Market? Join the debate on ‘Working and doing business in Europe’ between 23 and 25 September 2013 and help shape the future of Europe! You can already share your ideas, comment and vote at www.yourideasforeurope.eu/en/ideas/jobs.
