Visit of Andris Piebalgs to Bolivia: 22/08/2013

Andris Piebalgs, Member of the EC in charge of Development, visited Bolivia from 19 to 22 August 2013. On 22 August, he was in Oruro to sign a first financial aid from the EU for the SeLA project for 2014-2020, which aims to provide potable water to Bolivian people. In Poopó, Andris Piebalgs visited the tailing tanks for the treatment of waste water from mining. Accompanied by Mario Virreira, Bolivian Minister of Mining and Metallurgy, he went to the mines of Huanuni. Finally, he visited a trout farm project in Jucumari.
