On 11 July 2013, José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, travelled to Warsaw. On this occasion, he met with Bronisław Komorowski, President of Poland. Following their meeting, they delivered a joint press statement on the main issues they discussed, namely the relations of the EU with its Eastern neighbours.
