Debate on the Future of Europe - Citizens' Dialogue, in Crete with the participation of Maria Damanaki
While the debate on the future of Europe and the impact of the economic crisis grows in strength, the European Commission is to meet people in different European cities, to hear their concerns and expectations for the future. On this occasion, Maria Damanaki, Member of the EC in charge of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, travelled in Crete on July 12 to debate about the future of Europe with the EU citizens. Europe's growth strategy to recover from the economic crisis and the potential for the region of Crete was at the centre of the debate.
