Visit of José Manuel Barroso to Austria: meeting with Werner Faymann, Austrian Federal Chancellor: cutaways and départure

On 20 June 2013, José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, met with Werner Faymann, Austrian Federal Chancellor. Discussions focused on the preparations of the next European Council of 27-28/06/2013, the economic situation and the on-going reforms in Europe. They also talked about the floods that affected Austria on previous days. During their joint press conference José Manuel Barroso underlined the need of an European consensus on the practical ways to resolve the crisis and to restore sustainable growth, and he called for more confidence.
