Debate on the Future of Europe - Citizens' Dialogue, in Ventotene with the participation of Antonio Tajani
While the debate on the future of Europe and the impact of the economic crisis grows in strength, the European Commission is to meet people in different European cities, to hear their concerns and expectations for the future. On this occasion, Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Industry and Entrepreneurship, travelled to Ventotene in order to hold debates with the citizens from the European Union about their expectations for the future in (Citizens' Dialogues). Giuseppe Assenso, Mayor of Ventotene, Armando Cusani, President of the province of Latina, and some 500 student of the secondary school of the province of Latina also attended the debate. During the debate, the students asked Antonio Tajani not only about economic issues such as youth unemployment and the situation of graduates, but also about his views on European identity and cultural values.
