Participation of László Ando in the debate on the Future of Europe, in Naples
On 30 November 2012, László Andor, Member of the EC in charge of Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, was in Naples, Italy, to participate in a debate on the Future of Europe with nearly 200 students and employees/professionals. The discussion focused on the different roles of the European Commission and national governments in creating jobs and also touched upon how the European Social Fund could help people develop new skills. László Andor was joined by Luigi de Magistris, Mayor of Naples, for the meeting. Both called for more investment in education.
The debate was organised in the framework of the 2013 European Year of Citizens.
