The German Marshall Fund of the United States' Brussels Forum took place from 15 to 17 March 2013. On 16 March, Karel de Gucht, Member of the EC in charge of Trade and Co-chairman of the Transatlantic Economic Council (TEC), participated in the session dedicated to the US/EU Economic Partnership. The other panellists were Carl Bildt, Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Michael Froman, Assistant to the President of the United States and Deputy National Security Advisor for International Economic Affairs, and Co-chairman of the Transatlantic Economic Council (TEC), and Martin Jäger, Vice President of Global External Affairs at Daimler AG.
