Statement by José Manuel Barroso on Greece

José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, made a statement on Greece during the press conference following the visit of philosophical and non-confessional organisations to the EC. He welcomed the agreement reached by the Eurogroup earlier the same day on Greece, which underscored the EC's continuous efforts to help guide the quick implementation of the programme and ensure adequate support to Greece until it has regained market access.
