During the joint press conference the President said that Georgia was a key member of the Eastern Partnership and highlighted that the EU was keen in bringing the country closer to Europe. José Manuel Barroso then add that both he and the Prime Minister hoped that the negotiations could be finalised in time for the 2013 Eastern Partnership Summit.
