Making a local call

The EU regulation on roaming will bring about a new era in mobile communications. Citizens travelling within the EU will be able to communicate across borders at affordable and transparent prices. Very high international mobile “roaming” charges currently affect at least 147 million EU citizens (37 million tourists and 110 million business customers).
