This video stockshots illustrates examples of aid assistance since 1986. The trade pictures relate to areas under discussion as part of the current negotiations to establish a bilateral Trade and Co-operation agreement between the EU and South Africa.
These stockshots cover two themes: development aid and trade:
Development aid:
- legal advice centre
- human rights programme
- public health TV programme
- workshop for handicapped
- primary medical care and clinics in various townships in Johannesburg and Capetown
- rural water supply, village water supply, in various villages in the Eastern Cape.
Trade:
- Vineyards
- beef
- fishing
- dairy products
- motor car manufacture.
