Signing of the Yaoundé I Convention

The signing of the first Convention of Association between the six Member States of the EEC and eighteen African countries and Madagascar (AASM) took place in Yaoundé (Cameroun) on 20 July 1963. Were present the Representatives of the Member States of the EEC, the Members of the Commission of the EEC and the Represenatives of the African and Malagasy Head of States.
