A documentary film which explores the situation of disabled citizens in the European Union in their working environment. Individuals with different disabilities describe their challenges in training and seeking work. Trainers and employers also speak out about their commitment to employing disabled people and their bona fide contribution in the work place. Sheltered employment is clearly no longer the panacea it was seen to be in the past - disabled people need opportunities to undertake work commensurate with their abilities and be fulfilled in their professional lives. This film demonstrates, with tangible examples, why and how this is feasible in today's society, and highlights changing attitudes towards disabled pleople as workers, as consumers, and as individuals with civil rights.
