COP17/CMP7 United Nations Climate Change Conference 2011: extracts from the press conference by Connie Hedegaard

Connie Hedegaard, Member of the EC in charge of Climate Action, took part in the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the 7th Session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties (CMP7) to the Kyoto Protocol, that were held from 28 November to 9 December 2011 in Durban, South Africa. At a press conference on 9 November, Connie Hedegaard said that the EU's roadmap was in the core of the intense negotiations and that international support for this roadmap was growing all the time.
