Commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the OECD: closing remarks by José Manuel Barroso

On 25/05/2011, José Manuel Barroso, President of the EC, participated in Paris to the commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development). Along with Angel Gurría, Secretary General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Hillary Clinton, US Secretary of State, Naoto Kan, Japanese Prime Minister, and François Fillon, French Prime Minister, he gave closing remarks on this occasion, in which he called for new approaches to tomorrow’s challenges, and a European Neighbourhood Policy basing on economic development, social justice, and democratic reforms.
