9th European Business Summit – Europe in the world: Leading or lagging?: extracts from session 9 with the participation of Antonio Tajani
On 19 May 2011, participating in the European Business Summit in Brussels, Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Industry and Entrepreneurship, said that the European industry, in particular SMEs, and finance should be working in parallel in favour of the real economy, if Europe wants to continue to have a position in the global economy.
He strongly advocated for a new European industrial policy that would be improving the functioning of the European Internal Market while at the same time be fighting the delocalisation of the European industries. SHOTLISTLINK
