On 9 November 2010, Stefaan de Clerck, acting Belgian Minister for Justice, chaired the 3043rd meeting of the Justice and Home Affairs Council, in Brussels, in the presence of Viviane Reding, Vice-President of the EC in charge of Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship.
They gave a joint press conference after the meeting.
The EU Ministers for Justice debated on three directives regarding the establishment of a European Investigation Order, the right to information in criminal proceedings ("Letter of rights"), and measures to combat new forms of cyber crime, in particular large-scale cyber attacks.
They also analysed the annual report and mid-term review of the EU Drugs Action Plan (2009-2012).
