Presentation of "Entropa", EU Czech Presidency modern art installation, and press conference by Alexandr Vondra, Tomáš Pospiszyl and David Černý

Alexandr Vondra, Czech Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs and President in office of the Council, Tomáš Pospiszyl, Czech art historian, teacher and critic, and David Černý, Czech sculptor, held a press conference on 15 January 2009 in the Justus Lipsius Council building in Brussels. They presented "Entropa", the modern art installation hung in the lobby of the European Council building on the occasion of the Czech presidency. Reacting to the polemic about the project, they said it was meant as a caricature attempting to depict stereotypes about EU countries.
