Visit of the EU Troika to Georgia and extracts of the Press conference by Benita Ferrero-Waldner
EU Troïka paid an official visit to Georgia. The delegation consists of Dmitrij Ruppel, Slovenian Minister for Foreign Affairs and President in office of the Council, and Benita Ferrero-Waldner, Member of the EC in charge of External Relations and European Neighbourhood Policy.
The meetings focused on areas of possible cooperation between Georgia and the European Union, including issues related to Georgia’s EU Neighbourhood Policy Action Plan, the conflicts in Georgia and regional cooperation.
Benita Ferrero-Waldner held talks concerning upcoming parliamentary elections with the leaders of the united opposition and the Georgian Ombudsman Sozar Subari. SHOTLIST
