On 11 July 2017, Miguel Arias Cañete, Member of the EC in charge of Climate Action and Energy, received Hiroshige Seko, Japanese Minister for Economy, Trade and Industry, in the EC, in Brussels. Together, they signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the EU and Japan on promoting and establishing a liquid, flexible and transparent global Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) market. This video shows the signature ceremony with the participation of Miguel Arias Cañete and Hiroshige Seko.
