EU Space Programmes

4 077 views

The main aim of the EU Space Policy is to use space-related technology to tackle some of the most pressing challenges today, such as fighting climate change, helping to stimulate technological innovation, and providing socio-economic benefits to citizens. EU 'space programmes: 1. The Galileo and EGNOS satellite navigation programmes which provide positioning, navigation, and timing information worldwide. 2. The Copernicus Earth observation programme which provides Earth observation data and information. In addition, the Horizon 2020 programme also focuses on research into space technologies, applications, and other space related topics.
