97 801 views

On 20 October 2016 European Statistics Day is being celebrated for the first time.
Following up on 2015 World Statistics Day, the event will continue to focus on the global theme "Better data. Better lives."

Eurostat celebrates the day with a short video, a news release and a special spotlight page on our statistics (available on Eurostat website).

The video illustrates in a humorous way how statistics can have an impact on everyday life.
