European Heritage Label Award Ceremony with the participation of Tibor Navracsics

On 15 April 2015, Tibor Navracsics, Member of the EC in charge of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, and Silvia Costa, Member of the EP, presented the 2014 European Heritage Label Awards to the representatives of the winner sites, during a ceremony organised at the Solvay Library. This second edition rewarded sixteen sites, which are now holding the European Heritage Label (EHL).The Label aims to raise awareness of sites which have played a significant role in the history, culture and development of the EU, as well as to highlight their European dimension through information and educational activities. The ultimate objective of the Label is to strengthen people's sense of belonging to the EU.
